Alone In The Dark: Re-Haunted is a modern remaster of the landmark 1992 survival horror game by Infogrames. Built on the reverse-engineered FITD engine, Re-Haunted preserves the original gameplay while adding modern rendering, HD backgrounds, post-processing effects, gamepad support, and quality-of-life improvements.

Place Tatou.exe alongside the original game’s data files (PAK, ITD) in the same directory. The game auto-detects which title to run based on the data files present.

Why did we make this?
Becuase we love the game, and wanted to give it a modern port so new players and fans alike can experience it in a more modern way but retain the original gameplay.
What do I need to play it?
A modern PC will suffice from 2020 onwards, with Windows 10/11 or supported OS that a build is for.

Do I need game files?
You don't need the original game files as this is a full port with clean-room reverse engineered code. All the assets we created are original.
