  • Videos below shows worlds that are currently implemented in Unity scenes – Basic core mechanics have already been implemented as shown, next steps are full world implementation including gameplay loop remade from the original game, and deviations for quality of life purposes for modern gamers and game design principles.
  • Worlds have been remade completely in Unity from the N64 geometries for the most faithful platforming mechanics, design and original vision from RARE. Embellishments have been made including post processing, 4K AI upscaled / New textures, higher polycounts and new models based on original N64 marketing renders. Eye tracking system in place for enemies and characters.
  • Currently the core game mechanics, worlds, textures, music, models, Gruntilda boss fight, Furnace Fun, collectables and scripts are all working, what is missing next is the core gameplay loop, progression and placement of enemys, characters and game logic.
  • Controller styles – XBOX, PC Direct Control and Switch 2 Joycons are supported.
  • Game systems, not limited to including, World, Collectable, Enemy, Character, Speech Dialog, Pause, Subscreens, Audio, Basic game moves are all implemented.
  • Lead turn around for project completion time from concept approval will be eight months. Team of four developers will be working on the game and its systems internally with no outsourcing required.
